Carol "Sue" Terrell

Carol “Sue” Terrell, 80 of Bloomington died Thursday, April 9, 2015 in her home with her family at her side. She was born January 6, 1935 in Spencer to Ertie Hamm and Leatha Lucille Haltom Hamm. She was a wonderful mother and wife who enjoyed spending time with her family; she enjoyed reading, gardening and mushroom hunting. As a 1953 graduate of Bloomington High School, Sue had worked in different fields including working at RCA in the 50’s, selling real estate for Caldwell Banker in Florida in the 80’s and being a Cub Scout Den Mother. Sue attended StoneRidge Baptist Church. On December 23, 1954 Sue married William “Bill” Terrell and he survives.

Other survivors include three sons, Jeffery Terrell of Bloomington, Michael Terrell and his wife Sheryl of Danville, IN and Brian Terrell of Lakeland, FL; four grandchildren, Morgan Terrell, Madalyn Terrell, Luke Terrell and Marissa Terrell all of Danville, IN; a brother-in-law, James Terrell and his wife Betty of Martinsville; a sister-in-law, Katheryn Terrell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother William Hamm; and a brother-in-law, Donald Terrell.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, April 13, 2015 at 11:30 AM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E Third St, Bloomington, with Pastor Andrew Gaschke officiating. Burial will follow in Mt Nebo Cemetery in Martinsville. Visitation is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
