Charles Donald Glass

Charles was born on July 16, 1935, in Anderson, Indiana to the late William and Lucille (Mckelvey) Glass.

Charles went to Owen Valley High School and was in the Class of 1953.

Charles married the love of his life Geraldine Mae Glass on July 31, 1955, in Berrien Springs, Michigan.

He is survived by his two daughters Dorothy Glass of Bloomington, In and Lois Farr of Bloomfield, In. Daughter in Law Sharon Glass of Wilson, NC. Five grandchildren Michael Farr of Bloomington, In, Michelle (Farr) Easter of Bloomfield, In, Donald, II and Sadie Glass of Bloomington, In, Heather Glass of Bloomington, In, Shannon (Glass) and Paul Macklin of Wilson, NC.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Geraldine, two brothers Robert and Kenneth Glass, little sister Betty Glass, son Donald Glass, son-in-law Michael Farr, Sr., and his great-great-grandson Theodore “Theo” Easter.

Charles loved his family and if he was not working or mowing (which he loved) he would be doing things with his family. He loved to camp and went on trips when he could and took pictures, and videos to capture all the memories. Mowing was something that he loved and took pride in. He also loved watching classic shows on TV Land and listening to gospel music.

A visitation for Charles will be held Monday, July 28, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E 3rd St, Bloomington, Indiana 47401, followed by a funeral service at 12:30 PM.

Charles will be laid to rest in Valhalla Memory Gardens, 310 N Johnson Ave., Bloomington, Indiana.
