

Daniel Laurence Doyle, age 37, of Bloomington, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Born September 18, 1986, in Boston, Massachusetts, he was the son of Ann Zevnik and David Doyle. Dan was a graduate of North Central High School in Indianapolis, class of 2005, and Indiana University in Bloomington, class of 2008, where he received his BS degree in computer science. He enjoyed working as a network engineer.
He was very active in his free time, where he enjoyed woodworking, playing guitar, beekeeping, maintaining an immaculate lawn, being an adventurous cook and grill master, playing low-stakes golf, and traveling, especially to Alaska. He was also an avid computer gamer, a great Dungeon Master, a budding cyclist and an all-around tinkerer and creator of many things. His family is especially proud that he was a living kidney donor for a dear friend.
Daniel is survived by his loving family: his wife, Danielle Gadbery Doyle and his beloved dog, Ollie, of Bloomington; his mother, Ann Zevnik, of Fishers, Indiana, his father, David Doyle, of Boston, two sisters, Jacqueline Doyle and Amanda Doyle, both of Boston, plus many uncles, aunts, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Darwin and Joyce Zevnik, paternal grandparents, Larry and Ruth Doyle, and his first rescue, Charlie.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024, at 3:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Friends may visit the family from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Tippecanoe County CASA, of which Dan was a long-time supporter, or to the American Kidney Foundation.
