Janice Carol Marie May

Janice Carol Marie May, age 59, of Bloomington, passed away Monday evening, May 9, 2022 in St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. Born August 14, 1962 in Batesville, Indiana, she was the daughter of Neal and Wilhelmena “Billie” (Moorman) Laugle. Prior to retirement Janice worked as a case worker for Area 10 Agency on Aging. She had previously worked for various hospitals and nursing facilities. Janice graduated from the Oldenburg Academy in Oldenburg, Indiana and received an associate degree from Aristotle College. Janice enjoyed gambling and loved gathering with family and friends. She loved flamingoes, roses and carnations. She was of the Catholic faith.

Janice is survived by her loving husband, William “Dean” May, of Bloomington, daughter and her fiancé, Sarah Ruehl and Matt Richardson, of Cloverdale, Indiana, one son, Matthew Ruehl, of Cloverdale, Indiana; seven siblings, Jill Konardi, Jenny Brebberman, Jack Laugle, Bob Laugle, Paul Laugle, Jane Narwold and Julie Donahue and three grandchildren, Jacob Ruehl, Caden Jones and Lillian Huber.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Tom Laugle and one sister, Linda Laugle.
