Larry Franklin Arms

Larry Franklin Arms, age 61, of Bloomington, died Wednesday, evening at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born June 15, 1954 in Bloomington, he was the son of Junior Franklin Arms and Nellie Mae (Capps) Arms. Larry loved listening to country music and had a large collection of country music tunes with his favorite singer in the whole world being the late, great George Jones. Larry also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend to all.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Nina (Babbs) Arms, of Bloomington; his two daughters, Tammy Lynn Gray (Babbs) and Kimberly Kay “Peachy” Snowden, both of Bloomington; one brother, Roger Arms, of Ambia, IN; three sisters, Ginny (Arms) Fitzgerald, of Indianapolis, Onnie (Arms) Hart, of Loogootee and Donna (Arms) Pedro, of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Brandon Southern, Taylor Abrams, Alisha Southern and Lacy Southern, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Steven Franklin Arms, four brothers, Jimmy Arms, Danny Ray Arms, Gary Arms and Nile Franklin Arms and two sisters, Judy Phillips and Carolyn Sue Arms.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. with Bro. Michael Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
