Leonard Allen Helms, Jr., age 73, of Stinesville, Indiana passed away Monday afternoon at his residence. Born June 19, 1952, in Bloomington, Indiana, he was the son of Leonard Allen Helms, Sr. and Betty Ann (Mathis) Helms. Leonard received his associate degree in business from IVY Tech College and worked several years at Cook, Inc. in the shipping and receiving department. He enjoyed collecting knives, fishing and complaining about politics.
Leonard is survived by his two sons and their wives; Jeremy Isaac and Angel Helms, of Stinesville and Leonard Allen “Buddy” Helms III and Nancy Helms, of Chetek, Wisconsin, one brother, Dennis (Sheila) Helms, of Bloomington, one sister, Caroline (Rick) Henson, o Whitestown, Indiana, thirteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
