Loretta Kay Deckard

Kay married her first husband, Jimmy Leo Puett who preceded her in death in 2005. She married Richard Lee Deckard and he preceded her in death in 2004. She was a 23 year employee of Cook, Inc. in Bloomington, working as an assembler.

Kay loved her flowers, animals and more importantly her family.

Kay is survived by three daughters: Debra J.(husband David)Fox, Kathy L.(husband Dan)Pardieck, Carla G.(husband Tyrone)Allen, one son: Carlis D. Puett, 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters: Myra McConnell and Paula Love, one step-sister: Harriett Brody and one step-brother: Gregory Hines.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Rescue Farm in Spencer, IN.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 4-8 pm in Day Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN 47401. The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. also in the funeral home. The Rev Rick Robertson will be officiating. Burial will be in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
