Michael Wayne England

Michael Wayne England, age 60, of Solsberry, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, May 30, 2023 at his residence. Born May 14, 1963 in Bloomington, Indiana, he was the son of Wayne Thomas and Sharon Lee (Hawkins) England. Michael was a graduate of Edgewood High School, class of 1981, where he excelled as a wrestler. He then went on to receive an associate degree in electronics from IVY Tech. He was currently working as vice-president of logistics for Source Ability Corporation located in California. He had formerly worked for P.T.S. Electronics in Bloomington. He loved to fish and was a member of the N.R.A.

Michael is survived by his loving companion, Paula Lam, of Solsberry; his father, Wayne England, of Springville, Indiana and his two brothers, Jeremy (Sandra) England and Roger (Melissa) England, both of Spencer, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother, Bradley Scott England.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home; 4150 E. Third St. with Pastor Don English officiating. Burial will follow in the Greene County Chapel Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Monroe County Humane Association.
