Morton Park Iler

Park was born in Vincennes, Indiana on September 25, 1935 to William and Martha (Bir) Iler.

After graduating from Washington & Lee University and Harvard Business School, he worked as an executive in the oil industry for Conoco, Ashland Oil and Petro Lewis, among others. He retired as President/ CEO of a company he founded, Brentwood Securities in Los Angeles, California. As an oil executive, he traveled extensively throughout the Middle East, Europe, and South America.

He was a former president of the Indiana University Club, and a long time supporter and booster of IU athletics.

Throughout his life, his greatest accomplishment was his family. He is survived by his wife, Jeanne Iler of Bloomington, his son Doug Iler (Erika) of Huntington Beach, California; his daughter Madison Iler Wing (Doug) of Denver, Colorado; his son Bruce Iler of Denver Colorado; his stepdaughter Julia Conner of Paradise, California; his stepdaughter Susan Bender (Brian) of Santa Clarita, California; his stepson Harry Price (Anisa) of San Diego, California; his granddaughter Campbell Iler; and his grandson Dexter Wing.

Park was a U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the alumni clubs of Harvard and Washington & Lee Universities.
