

Norman Leon Liggett, 72, of Bloomington, died Monday July 15, 2013 in his residence. He was born June 28, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the son of Virgil Warren Liggett and Doris Anderson Liggett. He was a retired Allstate Insurance Agent in Bloomington. He loved his family and friends, spending time outdoors, golfing and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rose Ann Kaster Liggett, of Bloomington; two daughters, Nancy Kay Liggett and Susan Marie Liggett-Ray all of Bloomington; five grandchildren, Sandi (Tyler) Kidwell, Sarah (Phil) Peden, Levi Ray, Logan Ray and Isaac Ray; four great grandchildren, Maisie Kidwell, Jacob Kidwell, Lillian Peden and Eric Peden; and three sisters, Beverly Ulrey, Lois Thornton and Donna (John) McKenney. He was preceded in death by his parents and a great granddaughter, Riley Rose Kidwell.
A Celebration of Life will be held from1:00 P.M.- 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Day Funeral Home, 4150 East Third St. with Pastor John Robertson officiating.
