

Ricky S, Disinger 49, of Monticello passed away Sunday, October 31, 2010 at the Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette with his loving family by his side. He was born on October 23, 1961 in Winamac, Indiana to Charles and Violet (Marchand) Disinger.
Rick is a hero, father, husband, son, brother, and best friend. He was the founder of Diamond Engine and Machine located in Monticello, IN. He was also a member of the Pleasant Ridge Bible Church. Rick enjoyed his family and friends, serving the Lord, his Mustangs, riding his motorcycle, the Tuesday Night Cruisers and working at the shop. He will always be remembered for his hot rods, race cars, and happily helping others.
Rick leaves behind his mother Violet Disinger of Winamac, his wife Sadona (Martin) Disinger, his son’s Aaron and his wife Leslie Disinger of Monticello, and Zack Disinger of Kokomo, step children Ben Knight of Monticello and Sara Knight of Monticello. He also leaves behind his sisters Kay (Alan) Fritz of Winamac, Janet (Bob) Graham of Winamac, Betty (Don) Stotler of Bloomington, and Karen (John) Speicher also of Winamac, he also leaves behind his brother Larry (Diane) Disinger of Winamac, and several nieces and nephews.
Rick was preceded in death by his father Charles Disinger, nephew Brian Speicher, and sister-in-law Diana Lynn Disinger.
Friends may come to Pleasant Ridge Bible Church (1068 W 200 S Francesville, IN 47946) on Tuesday, November 2, from 3 – 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 AM also at the church. Burial will take place at Koster Cemetery. Floral contributions may be delivered to the church. Arrangements are being handled by Day Funeral Home of Bloomington, Indiana.
