Ruth Ann Wilson

Ruth Ann Wilson, age 65, of Bloomington and Bedford, Indiana, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the IU Health Hospice House in Bloomington. Born August 2, 1959 in Bloomington, she was the daughter of Ronald and Ethel (Crawford) Skinner. Ruth worked as a private duty nursing assistant.

She enjoyed collecting dolls, roller skating, going to yard sales, listening to Christian music and traditional country music songs with Charlie Pride, Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn being amongst her favorite singers.

Ruth is survived by her son, Charles (fiancé, Shawna Shepard) Wilson, of Lyons, Indiana; two daughters, Cynthia (Joey) Nelson, of Pennsylvania and Cassandra (Andrew) Thompson, also of Pennsylvania, nine grandchildren; three brothers, Max (Christina) Skinner, of Bedford, Indiana, Ronald Joe Skinner, of Ellettsville and Gary Lee (Patricia) Skinner, of Bloomfield, Indiana and lots of nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Ronald and Ethel Skinner, one brother, Carey Edward Skinner and her sister, Bonnie Sue Huddleston.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 at the Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
