Victor Stanley Gorick, age 84, of Bloomington, died Friday at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana. Born October 17, 1927 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, he was the son of John and Catherine (Zasuwa) Gorajek. He retired as an Electronic Technician for Crane N.W.S.C. He loved to fish and loved watching Indiana University Football and Basketball, especially watching his daughters perform in the Marching and Pep Bands, Cheerleading and Redsteppers. He was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and American Legion Post 18 in Bloomington.
He is survived by his three daughters, Karen Gorick (Steve Musick), of Trinidad, California, Lauren Heckman (Carl), of Plainfield, Indiana and Kathy Vallery (Steven), of Pawley’s Island, South Carolina; four grandchildren, Christopher, Caroline, Ethan and Gabrielle and one sister, Florence Lindberg, of Redford, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Frances (Milerowski) Gorick in 1992.
