Wilma Ann Walker

Wilma Ann Walker, age 86, passed away in her home in Bloomington, IN on October 24, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Bloomington, born on August 12, 1928 to Albert Deane and Ethel Nottingham Hash.Wilma married Max Walker on November 3, 1945 in Bloomington. He preceded her death September 14, 1986. Wilma spent 35 years as a Fuller Brush representative.Wilma is survived by her four children: Jim(wife Shirley)Walker, Donna Walker, Danny(wife Suanne)Walker and Deana(husband George)Terrill. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter and her sister Linda Williams.She was an appreciated volunteer at several nursing homes, followed and supported the Country Dreamers. Wilma loved her family, loved to garden and watch her hummingbirds.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E. Third St., Bloomington, IN. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. also in the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Harold Godsey.
