Beverly K. Hageseth, age 91, passed away on 3/20/25 in Everett Washington at Providence Medical Center after a short case of pneumonia. Her daughters Lisa and Sheila were with her when she died. She had been residing in a memory care facility, The Cottages, in Mill Creek, Washington for the past 7 years. She moved to Washington 10 years ago when it became clear her dementia was progressing, and it wasn’t safe for her to live alone.
She was born in Minot, North Dakota from parents Catherine and Christian Hageseth. Beverly was a Registered Nurse and worked in several hospitals, nursing homes, as well as private care through her career. She was also an industrial nurse for Hewlitt Packard in Fort Collins, Colorado. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Gerontology at age 50 and worked with the Agency on Aging. She often felt like she worked at the assisted living home she was in, and the nurses happily went along.
Beverly cherished her church family in Fort Collins and faith was very important to her. Beverly is survived by her brothers, Christian and Gaylord Hageseth, her daughters, stepdaughter, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 9 great-great grandchildren. Her family decided to have a private memorial in their home in lieu of a public service, since her friends live out of state.
She will be remembered for her infectious laugh.
