

Felton Hall was born in Carville, Louisiana to the union of Val and Nick Hall and came to Seattle at an early age. He was the oldest of three children and attended Madrona, Meany and Garfield High School.
In 1962 he enlisted in the Army Reserves and trained at Fort Sam Houston, Texas then returned to Washington for six years for his remaining service obligation. In 1963 he married Beverly Bright his high school friend and partner of 62 years and they had two children, Denise and Kyle.
Felton started his banking and finance career at Beneficial Life Insurance and later went to Seattle Trust where it later passed into history with its sale to what is now known as Key Bank. Key Bank was a good fit as Felton was promoted to manager of the Green Lake Branch for eleven years and graduated from Assistant to Vice President at various branches of Key Bank.
Felton was a member of the North Central Kiwanis Club and served as president in 1987, helping to serve the Kiwanis famous strawberry shortcake at summer festivities. In 1992 Felton was recognized by the Greater Black Achievers Program of the YMCA based on his history of community involvement with the YMCA and its programs. In 1993 he participated in the March of Dimes Walkathon and participated in the groundbreaking of the new library at Seattle Pacific. University. In 1996 he was honored by the Seattle Mariners at the Cal Angeles game at the Seattle Kingdome with his family and colleagues in attendance. Felton retired from Key Bank in 1996.
In his earlier years Felton enjoyed having friends and family over for parties and bar-b-ques. He was a member of Kings Men Social club and an original member of Thurm's Bowling Club which bowled and dined monthly and still meet to dine and fellowship. Every summer Felton and his wife took a trip, flying, driving and cruising and when the kids came along he would pack everyone in the car and drive to California to site see and visit relatives. He loved his family and adored his children.
Felton was preceded in death by his parents and sister Marilyn Rhodes. He leaves behind his wife Beverly, daughter Denise, son Kyle, sister Wilma, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews and many friends.
