Jane was born as Jane W. Anderson and was raised in Spokane and Moses Lake, Washington. She graduated from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Spokane in 1955 and was employed by Providence Hospitals in Seattle and Grace New Haven, Connecticut. She eventually retired from nursing after spending many years employed for Seattle Clinic of Medicine. Jane lived most of her adult life in Seattle and Kirkland, Washington.
She is survived by loving partner, Max Morgan of 32 years, married for five years; son, Mark (Lisa); daughters, Barbara Werner, Cathy Kowalsky (Leonard); sister, Barbara Osborne; and seven grandchildren: Thomas Werner; Sam, Ben and Lizzie Dowdle; Jacob and Katie Kowalsky; and Taylor Dowdle. Oldest son, Jeffrey (Dana), passed in 2008.
Jane enjoyed her travels with Max to Hawaii, Asia, Europe, Ireland, and the Oregon Coast. Her favorite pastimes were gardening, growing orchids, quilting, and cooking.
