

Geraldine was born on October 22, 1929 to Arthur Evans and Gwendlyn Westmore in Albuquerque, NM. On May 28, 1950 she married Daniel Wilson Hess in Ft. Collins, CO.
Geraldine enjoyed spending her time volunteering at the Boulder county branch of the American Red Cross, as well as the Boy Scouts of America. She was also an avid bowler for over 50 years. For 45 of those years she bowled in state bowling tournaments and 30 years in national bowling tournaments. She was an enthusiastic Bronco fan and went to almost every Bronco game, holding season tickets for the last 25 years. Geraldine was loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include her four children and their spouses; two brothers; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband and two brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, September, 2, 2011 at Mountain View United Methodist Church, 355 Ponca Pl., Boulder, CO 80303. A private inurnment will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery. Contributions in Geraldine’s honor may be made to the American Red Cross, 444 Sherman St., Denver, CO 80203.
Daniel Wilson Hess of Boulder, CO passed away on September 8, 2007. He was 79.
Daniel was born on December 30, 1927 in Fort Collins, CO to Lester and Edith Mae (Mefford) Hess. He was retired from the Army and his job at IBM.
Daniel was preceded in death by his father and mother. He is survived by his wife, Geraldine; his four children; his three sisters; as well as seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
