

was born in Brandon, Manitoba, Canada on September 18,1928. She died peacefully on April 9, 2026 in Boulder Colorado after a brief illness, surrounded by her family.
Heather's parents, George and Isabella Oliver emigrated to Canada from Scotland. Heather grew up with three older siblings; Marnie, Isabel and George. She fondly remembered eating her dad’s home-grown tomatoes with sugar, and picking dandelions in spring with her siblings for him to brew dandelion wine. She adored her mother, who was a very loving and kind person. At 19, she ventured off to Calgary where she met her best friend of many decades, Lova. They worked for Standard Oil, where Heather met her future husband, Tom. They all spent many wonderful weekends skiing in Banff before moving permanently to the states.
Heather and Tom went on to have three children, Bob, Peter and Jennifer. They lived in Florida for many years. After Tom's death, Heather packed up to follow her dream of living in California. She spent over 30 years in La Jolla where she enjoyed boogie boarding, playing tennis, creating beautiful paintings, and traveling. She spent the last 5 years living in Boulder, Colorado with Jennifer. She will be remembered as a joyful, funny, fiercely determined person who lived life on her own terms and who could beat anyone in a game of Scrabble.
She was predeceased by her parents, George and Isabella , her brother and sisters and her husband Tom. She is loved and remembered by Bob and Stephanie Hull, Pete, Kim, Ian(Meilyn) and Dylan Hull, and Jennifer Goodman and her two daughters Molly (Marshal) and Jillian (Dan).
