

An upbeat celebration of life will be held in Jim's honor at Crist Mortuary & Cremation and Mountain View Memorial Park, 3395 Penrose Place in Boulder on Sunday, February 19th from 11:00 a.m. - 3 p.m. There will be lunch, snacks and refreshments served!
James (Jim) F. Morrison, age 76, of Boulder Colorado, passed away comfortably on January 4th, 2023.
Jim was born on April 22, 1946, in Evergreen Park, Illinois. He grew up in Toledo, Ohio, with his 5 sisters! He graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1964. Jim enlisted in the Airforce in March of 1967 and was honorably discharged. Jim obtained his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and graduated cum laude from Regis University in 1993.
Jim and his former spouse, Alexis had a son together who they adored. Colin Morrison was born on March 4, 1978, in Denver, Colorado. Jim remained friends with Alexis and her husband Morri. On April 28, 1990, he was united in marriage to Jadine Manganello in Boulder, Colorado, and became a loving father to her son Christopher Manganello.
Jim was a jack of all trades and worked as a landscaper, and a roofer, and most recently started his own renovation business with his sons, Colin and Christopher. He was a known goofball and was always joking around and having fun. Jim loved golf and fishing and shared those joys with both of his sons. His other hobbies included spending time with his beloved wife Jadine, bicycling, skiing, hiking, gardening, reading, listening to music, driving fast, playing pool, and community activism. Jim’s wife Jadine passed away in 2008 after a long battle with cancer. He was by her side and cared for her until the very end.
Jim's later life passions included spending time with his children Colin and his wife Heather, and Christopher and his wife Kara. He cherished his time with his Grandchildren, Montez and Jadine who he had a very special relationship. He played a big role in both of their lives and Montez and Jadine loved and cared for their grandfather. Jim truly cherished his relationships with his sisters, Jim and both of his sons took a trip back to Toledo in October 2020 to reunite with them!
Jim is survived by his children, Christopher Manganello, Kara Archuleta, and Heather Morrison, a grandson, Montez Manganello, a granddaughter, Jadine Manganello, and his siblings, Mary Vanniere, Judy Bernhard (Dick), Martha Fernström, and Kathy Shoffer (Jeff). He is further survived by his nieces, nephews, and many other special relatives and friends. Jim was preceded in death by his loving father, Elmer Morrison, and mother, Mary Morrison, his dear wife, Jadine Morrison, his sister, Jeannie Orth (Terry), and his first son, Colin Morrison (Heather).
