Janet Claire Moran died on Christmas Eve of 2016 at 2:00pm of cancer. She was born on June 5, 1939 in Hanover, Indiana where she attended elementary school, high school, and college. She won her Masters of English from the University of Indiana.
She is survived by her husband, Tom, of 38 years and by 3 children and 7 grandchildren. The children are Natalie McLaughlin, manager of community relations, for the Plymouth, Michigan Credit Union; Col. Scott C. Wertz of San Diego, an American Airlines Captain; and Todd A. Wertz, President of K-Swiss International limited in Taiwan.
Janet dearly loved her children and grandchildren. She loved life, her family, the outdoors, and music! Also she loved flowers and decorating her homes, especially at Christmas. She had retired from the Boulder Valley School System where she worked at several of the elementary schools as a head secretary. Janet will be missed by everyone who knew her!
