Born in Chihuahua, Mexico, one of 14 children, he came to the US and became skilled in various trades. He was employed at Western Disposal for over a decade and was the recipient of the Safe Worker award each year since the program started.
His favorite past time was fishing at Marshall Lake with his best friend, John Lauer.
He is preceded in death by father, Jesus Manuel Madrid, and brother and is survived by his mother, from Yuma, Colorado; his daughter Yaihara of New Mexico; his son, Rafael Madrid from Boulder, Colorado; and his daughter, Rita Madrid from Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A rosary/viewing will be on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 5:00 PM at Crist Mortuary. The Funeral Mass will begin at 10 AM on Friday at Sacred Heart of Jesus. At 9 AM on Friday, we will be processing from Crist Mortuary to Sacred Heart of Jesus.
