John Brandon Haas

John Brandon Thomas Haas, known to most as Brandon was born August 22, 1973 in Helena, MT and passed away September 17, 2016 in Boulder, CO. He was 43 years old. Brandon moved to Arizona at the age of twelve where he met and played basketball with a large group of friends. He worked glass for fifteen years then moved to Boulder, CO with his wife Gwendy Kay Haas and youngest daughter Erin Kathleen Haas. He then proceeded to graduate from ITT with a degree in CAD drafting and work for Flatiron Surveying Inc. in Boulder, CO as a Project manager. Brandon was happiest watching the Denver Broncos play every week, he loved Star Wars and everything outdoors. He is preceded in death by his mom Sue Anne Melle(Ballard) and stepfather Elden Leonard Melle. Brandon is survived by his wife Gwendy Kay Haas (Harrop) of Boulder, CO; his three daughters Erin Kathleen Haas, Elizabeth Ashley Haas, and Emma Hilary Hurdel (Haas); his son in law Eddie David Hurdel, two grandchildren Violet Sue Hurdel and Samuel David Hurdel; his sister Jennifer Sykes of University Place, WA; stepbrothers Kelly Melle of Stevenson Ranch, CA and Adam Melle of Surprise, AZ and his stepsister Jenifer Corey of Ahwatukee, AZ.

The celebration of Brandon’s life will be at Crist Mortuary 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301, Saturday October 8th at 10AM. Everybody is welcome to this informal service of sharing.
