Born Margaret Lee Bender in Vineland, New Jersey and used her step-father's name of Pilcher thereafter. She moved to Boulder, CO in 1975 and worked for Boulder Schools Transportation as a Dispatcher until her retirement. She then enjoyed driving a school bus for Alexander Dawson School until she was unable in 2011. She has touched the lives of many people with her genuine fairness and determination. Peggy's strength of spirit was immeasurable. She survives through her husband Stephen Ford, her son Kallen Ford, and daughter Megan Pilcher. A celebration of her life will be held at "Spice of Life" Event Center, 5706 East Arapahoe, Boulder, CO, on Saturday, November 19th from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm.
