Rita was born on April 8, 1928 in Lidgerwood, North Dakota to Martin and Lillian Tesch. She received her teaching certificate from Valley City State College. On August 24, 1949 she married Glenn L. Wilson.
Rita was known for her love of traveling the world and taking many pictures along the way.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband Glenn, sister Chloe, and brother Ernst. She is survived by her brothers Bruno, Bill and sister Leah, her children Kathy Fawcett (Ron) of San Diego CA, Sue Wheeler (Tim) of Erie CO, Glenn Wilson (Diane) of Broomfield CO, Nancy Wilson of Seattle WA, John Wilson (Judy) of Brush Prarie WA. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren who were all very dear to her heart.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at 10:30 AM at Shepherd of the Valley Ev. Lutheran at 8997 W 88th Ave, Broomfield CO. Donations may be sent to Rocky Mountain Lutheran High School, 10391 Luther Court, Commerce City CO, 80020.
