Deborah Hawk, 59, passed away on February 13, 2024. She was born on October 3, 1964, in Allentown, PA, to Edmund R. Hawk and Mabel (Montz) Hawk. She spent her early years in Orefield, PA and attended high school in Bethany, OK. She then returned to Pennsylvania where she studied to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Debbie spent over 30 years working in the nursing field starting out in nursing homes and spending most of her career in home care. She truly enjoyed helping people with their healthcare needs and especially liked dealing with her senior patients. In addition to PA and OK, Debbie worked and lived in Southern Pines, NC, Tampa, FL, and Bradenton, FL.
Besides her parents, Debbie was predeceased by her stepmother Betty Hawk and infant sister, Michelle. She is survived by her cherished daughter, Lauren Abigail Hawk, sister Peggy Morris (husband Gary), brother Robert Hawk (wife Tina), an uncle, two aunts, and numerous cousins and friends.
A private service will be held by the family at a future date. In Debbie’s memory, donations can be made to your regional Humane Society or a charity of your choice. Cremation arrangements handled by Robert Toale & Sons, Manasota Memorial Park.
