Donald Richard Taylor

Donald Richard Taylor, age 74, tragically passed away on the 22nd day of October, due to an unexpected heart attack while he was enjoying his Saturday afternoon. Donald was born in 1948 on the 14th day of August to parents Donald H. Taylor and Thelma Lois (Mathers) Taylor and grew up in the small town of Burgoon, Ohio where he thrived in school and further education. He moved out of his parent’s home in 1971 and moved on to his dream location in Florida. Months before moving to Florida he married Sharon (Valent) Taylor after meeting on a blind date and they fell in love immediately. They ended up having four children together. Donald proved himself to be a wonderful and dedicated father, and although he and Sharon amicably separated, he remained an excellent dad to his children. He always put in the extra effort for his children, caring for their every need, he never stopped loving them with all his heart. Although, he has left his four children behind, he will always be in their hearts and minds for the rest of their lives.

Donald had suffered two prior heart attacks within the last five years and unfortunately it became too unbearable for his body.

Donald is survived by his forever love Sharon Taylor, his four children Dawn Hlasnick, Shannon Taylor-Sutcliffe, James Taylor and Kelly Taylor along with their spouses and eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A service for Donald will be held privately for his family.
