We are saddened to announce that our beloved Eddie Lee DeJerinett Jr., age 65, of Sarasota, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022. Eddie aka "Eddieman" was born on January 27, 1957 in Sarasota, FL to Bishop Eddie & Lula DeJerinett. He attended Booker School and graduated from Breckenridge Job Corp Center as a Diesel Mechanic.
Eddie was predeceased by his beloved father and mother, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and all of his aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his three children, Eddie III (Sheba), Jason and Aaron; his only sister, Alice Herrera; his brothers, Andrew (Luvenia), Anthony (Lynnetta), James (Glendie); his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends who knew and loved him.
A visitation for Eddie will be held Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Payne Chapel AME Church, 1910 Central Ave, Sarasota, FL 34234. The Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 PM.
