Edgar Ronald Sage, 84, of Sarasota, Florida passed away on February 10, 2026 at the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida. He was born on September 8, 1941 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, the son of the late George and Natalie (Froehlich) Sage. He immigrated as a child with his family to Minnesota. He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Minnesota and was a high school teacher in Saginaw, Michigan. After retiring to Florida, he volunteered for many years at Meals on Wheels including delivering meals to clients for over ten years.
He is survived by sister-in-law Judy Sage of Superior, Wisconsin, cousins in Canada, and partner and friends in Sarasota and Michigan.
In addition to his parents, Edgar was preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Sage.
Edgars ashes will be placed at the Oakwood Memorial Mausoleum in Saginaw.
