Ed was born and raised in Passaic, New Jersey, then his family moved to Clifton and graduated from Clifton High School. He received degrees from Newark College of Engineering(NJIT) and an MBA from Montclair State University. Ed was a talented musician playing bass guitar and singing for multiple bands throughout his career. Anyone who knew Ed, knew his love for the band “The Who”. He loved cooking and sharing this with family and friends. Ed had a successful career in logistics and distribution. Along with his wife, he lived in Spring Lake and Millstone Township, New Jersey where they raised a family and were very active community members. Most of all, Ed was a loving husband, adoring father, caring cousin, and all around friend.
Edward is survived by his high school sweet heart and wife of 49 years, Jewell “Julie” Bednarz, 3 children, Colin Bednarz, Shannon Bednarz and her fiancée Shane Culp, and Allison Bednarz, cousins and countless friends.
The family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and medical staff at Florida Cancer Specialists.
