George James Fountain

George graduated from MAI in 1981 and later retired from the city of Palmetto, where he dedicated many years of service. His passions included landscaping, which not only was a profession but also a personal hobby. He often spent his free time fishing and cherished moments with his beloved golden retrievers. George was also an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his parents George and Alice Fountain; children, Erin Bobo (Matt), Casey Perez (Eddie), and their mother, Susan Fountain. George was also a proud grandfather to Logan, Savannah, and Ryan Bobo.

Arrangements are being handled by Robert Toale & Son's Funeral Home at Manasota in Bradenton, Florida. George will be remembered for his dedication to his family and his community, leaving behind a legacy of love and service.

A visitation for George will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, FL 34203.

A Mass of Christian Burial will occur Friday, July 26, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Joseph Catholic Church, 3100 26th St W, Bradenton, FL 34205. A committal service will follow church services at 12:00 PM at Manasota Memorial Park.
