Born March 27, 1950, on Long Island, NY, she was a daughter of the late Bud and Helen; and the sister of Donald . She was also preceded in death by her sister, Joan.
Survivors include her daughter, Megan; son, George; and the light of her life, her granddaughter Olivia. Jan leaves behind many loving and devoted friends.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2016, at Manasota Funeral Home, in Bradenton.
A celebration of life will start at 5:30 pm at the funeral home.
