Margaret Francis Downs passed away at 97 years of natural causes on Saturday, June 11 2022 in Bradenton, FL. She was born on October 20, 1924, in Springfield, MO. Margaret was predeceased by her stepfather Tom Moore and mother Lema, husband Joseph Hamilton Dows Jr., sister Billie Jo Wilson and brother Walter George “John” Moore. She is survived by her sister Sue Harris, children Joseph H Downs III (Synthia), Sydney Shaurette (Richard), grandson Justin Clegg, ste granddaughters, Monica Leonhardt (Erich), Laura Knighton (Chip), Jennifer Phuphanich (Golf) and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
By her request, there will be no services. She will be cremated and interred at later date in the National Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR. Joining her husband.
