Matt Steiner- when you hear that name you know your talking about a kind and gentle man who lived life on his own terms.  He was a true outdoorsman who loved his boat, his dogs, camping and fishing and of course his beer (lol).  At the same time he could put on his suit and say his pledge to his fellow Masons in front of hundreds. When he did something he did it with passion and determination. He was such a joy to be around.  Always willing to do something crazy and fun and always willing to help someone in need. He was Lynn's right hand man, Shannon's guiding and protective father and Jack & Ava's teacher of all of  life's important lessons.  Nothing was more important to him than his family.   I'm gonna miss my brother (in-law) and I'm going to cherish all the wonderful memories I have. Rest in peace my friend and I'll be looking for you in heaven when I get there 💖

We miss you so much. I wish we were back at Disney and you and my dad saying "bust loose" and us dancing on command!! I still remember that!! You are already truly missed by so many. I love you! 


I never had the pleasure of meeting you sir but you have created a lasting legacy in your daughter Shannon that has been passed down to your grandchildren.  Thank you for making the world a better place by raising such a wonderful daughter.  Peace be with you and your family.

Big hearted and caring. Matt was always great for a good story and a hearty laugh.  The Steiner's are hard workers and Matt was not the exception.   He would never let me refuse his help in the lodge and always went out of his way for me.    He tended to point out the good in the people he cared about, showering them with kind words, while humbly disregarding his own successes and talents.   He strived and worked so hard in degree work, it didnt come easy to him but he refused to let it get the better of him always saying that he wanted to make us proud.  He was and always will be a dear friend with a big place in my heart.   He will be missed, but if anyone is unforgettable it is Matt.    Job well done my friend, get some rest. 

I love you so much and will miss you deeply. You were a great husband to me. A good father to Shannon, and a awesome grandpa (Pa) to Jack and Ava. You had a heart of gold.  We will miss you!
