

Nancy Thuston Diem, a cherished mother, grandmother, and dedicated nurse, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2025, in Venice, Florida, at the age of 73. Born on December 14, 1951, in Buffalo, New York, Nancy's life was marked by her immense love, warmth, and a heart that touched everyone she met.
Throughout her life, Nancy embodied the spirit of compassion and care. Her career as a nurse was not merely a profession but a calling, where her genuine concern for the well-being of others shone through. Her colleagues and patients alike admired her dedication and the gentle, reassuring smile she shared with everyone.
Beyond her professional life, Nancy's most cherished roles were those of mother and "Nonna" to her beloved family. Her children, Catherine Schoenhals, Vincent Ramsey, Nicholas Ramsey, and Nelson Krantz, were the pride and joy of her life, as were her grandchildren Nicolette Ramsey, Alexii Schoenhals, Ashlee Schoenhals, Angelina Schoenhals and Kaylee Krantz. Nancy's legacy of love and kindness lives on through them, as well as through her partner, Joseph Albright, who shared many happy years by her side.
Nancy's big heart and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew her. Her beautiful smile was a beacon of joy, and her laughter could light up any room. Friends and family fondly remember her as a loving and caring individual who always found time to listen and lend a helping hand.
A visitation to honor Nancy's life will be held on Monday, April 28, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Robert Toale & Sons Celebration of Life Center, located at 4310 Solutions Lane, Bradenton, FL 34211. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 1:00 PM. Nancy will be laid to rest during a committal service from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34203, where her spirit will continue to be celebrated and cherished by all who knew her.
In remembering Nancy, we celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and an enduring legacy of kindness. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
