Patricia “Patty” Jehlen passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2025, at the age of 65. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on March 22nd, 1960. Patty is survived by her mother Patricia T. Jehlen, brother Richard Jehlen and daughter Amanda Haas. She was predeceased by her father, Richard A. Jehlen. She was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Patty’s life was marked by extraordinary resilience and an unwavering capacity to care for others. She embraced both her family and friends closely with special touches of attention and continual support. Although her passion for her family preceded all else, her other passions included caring for and taking in stray animals, crafting thoughtful, handmade gifts for her loved ones, and reveling in trips to Disney World with friends and family…a continuing pleasure from the time she was young. Patty also had a passion for her career as a loyal and dedicated paralegal. Her counsel and advice from her personal journey of growth will be missed deeply. Patty will be remembered for her humor, kindness, loyalty, and infective happiness.
In lieu of flowers, her family kindly asks that donations be made in Patty’s honor to either The Humane Society of Manatee County or Dogs Inc.
