My heart goes out to Sonny's family and all my Levardi cousins.  Your family was so close- always with love and teasing!  Our Sunday's together were always so special.  May your happy memories of Sonny help you all heal and find peace.

Aunt Judy, Skee Ty, Cory & Pat,

I've been wanting to send you my thoughts, so I decided to do it here for now. I'm so sorry to hear about Uncle Pat, but as Aunt Doreen says I'm sure he's at peace with those that came before and those who will go after. I always remember Uncle Pat as a big heart with a big bark. He was so strong but so kind, compassionate and giving and I always respected that. I loved him (and you Aunt Judy) for welcoming me into your home as though I lived there. For caring for me as David's son. Pat was all about Family and it made a huge difference in my life even to this day. 

There's no words I can say that will echo his light that he brought to myself and I'm sure others, but I can say that no one, and I mean no one made a better LeVardi Spaghetti sauce than Uncle Pat (sorry Butch). I made mine yesterday from the lessons Uncle Pat gave me and although it was outstanding, I always said to him that he must have held out on me because I could never replicate his. He would smile and laugh, and so would I. I still remember sneaking multiple tastes in the kitchen with Shaun and there was nothing like it. If there's a top prize on earth or in heaven for that let me be the first to cast my vote for Uncle Pat. Thank you all for the wonderful memories. I still miss you very much and you guys are always in my heart. Be well.

To my brother Pat (Sonny)

I too am deeply sadden by your passing. The things I will miss the most about you, your deep laughter, the way you liked to get after your sisters for picking on (Pat), another Polka partner gone (not sure who you and David are going to dance with) but most of all I'll miss your presence here with us. You were blessed in many ways with Judy (your loving wife) and three beautiful children and grandchildren. There is no doubt in my mind that Mom, Dad, our sister and two brothers are happy to have you with them now.

This little Soul wishes your little Soul much peace and happiness for now you are truely home.
