Rebecca was born in Cortez Florida to Leo and Nellie Mae Taylor in 1943. She grew up in Cortez and graduated from Manatee High School. Rebecca worked as a personal assistant for many years helping families in both Sarasota and Manatee Counties. She loved spending time with her family which includes her daughter Kelly Rhoades(Les) and her son Kevin Bartels(Laura), Granddaughters Dana Rhoades and April Burkett, Grandson Chad North, and Brother Leo Taylor. Predeceased were sisters Patty Banyas and Emily Novak.
