Rosario Vessillo

Rusty was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Rosario and Emily Vessillo on September 29, 1960. He went to high school at Paramus Catholic and graduated in 1978. He earned a post-graduate certificate in computer operations and worked as a computer operator at ADP, Parsippany, New Jersey, for many years.

He was a dedicated fan of the New York Jets, New York Yankees and New Jersey Devils. He was an avid reader of Christian books and autobiographies. Rusty loved family time and celebrations, especially enjoying activities with his two granddaughters.

Rusty was a devoted member of Abundant Grace Christian Church in Rutherford, New Jersey, and, more recently, Hope International Ministries in Bradenton, Florida, serving in security, ushering and church outreaches. He also served as a board member of Unashamed Outreach Ministries of Florida.

Rusty is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna Cormier-Vessillo; son Brian Patrick Hilliard and his wife Liana; son Russell; granddaughters Brianna and Valentina; and other beloved family members. He was predeceased by his parents.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Robert Toale & Sons, Bradenton, on Saturday, November 18, at 12 noon with Pastor Ronson Kutinsky of Hope International Ministries officiating.
