Steve was born in Jersey City, New Jersey, to Dorothy and Frank Colonna on April 12, 1959. He went to Butler High School and graduated in 1977. Professionally he was predominantly a printing salesman. He was most proud not of his career, but of his title of Grandpa and being a dad that put all four of his children through college.
He most enjoyed being with his family and friends, as well as watching almost ANY sport and shockingly knowing every player's name and highlights since he was a child. In his youth he played football, basketball, and baseball. He loved a good bar hop and knew every happy hour in any town he ever lived in. He was always ready to let loose and break a move on a dance floor. He was the life of any party! He was a huge softy and enjoyed any movie that made him cry as well as listening to his beloved music. He often listened to songs he had attached to his favorite people and memories. In his later years he had an appreciation for sitting on his lanai in the mornings to read his paper and enjoyed his Florida lifestyle of year round shorts, t-shirts, sandals and lots of golf.
Steve is survived by his children Michael, Stephen (Steph), Kelly Pannaman (Alex), and Shannon Bravo (Junior), his siblings Tony (Laena), Karen Carter (John), and Frank (Leanne), his mother Dorothy, his grandchildren Juliette, William, Aurora, and Maximus, and his nieces Lyndsey, Mia, Carley, & Francesca. He is preceded in death by his father Frank Colonna and nieces Caroline Carter and Gabriella Colonna.

For those that are grieving Steve, when sharing a memory of him you will often find that you can not help but laugh. He was hilarious with his own unique character. Those who he cared about he loved deeply and always made sure they knew it. Taken too soon, but can never be forgotten. He will truly be missed.
