Tia Marie Blacketer

Tia Marie Blacketer, age 44, of Parrish, Florida passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024. Tia graduated from Southeast High School in the Class of 1999 and had been a valued employee at the Coastal Eye Institute since 2004. Known for her beautiful soul, love for God, and unwavering devotion to her family, Tia was a friend to many and a source of unwavering support. She was the best mother to her daughter, Bria, and a loving, dedicated partner to Edward Crawford for 20 years.

She leaves behind her daughter, Bria; brothers John Blacketer (Lindsey), Kevin Blacketer (Leah), and sister Ashley Blacketer; father John Blacketer; and partner Edward Crawford. Tia was also a beloved aunt to Wyatt, Destiny, Charles, Bentley, Constance, Jaxon, Jakob, Haddie, and Kaylee. She was a treasured friend to many. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lisa Blacketer; grandmother, Nancy Carberry; grandfather, Jack Carberry; and grandmother, Elizabeth Jane Blacketer.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24th, 2024, at the Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Manasota Memorial Park, located at 1221 53rd Ave E, Bradenton, FL 34203. Attendees are kindly asked to wear purple in her memory.
