

Tim Murray, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away on March 7, 2025, in Bradenton, Florida. Born on April 14, 1952, in Muncie, Indiana, Tim's journey through life was filled with love, dedication, and adventure.
At a young age, Tim moved with his family to Silvis, Illinois, where he grew up and attended United Township High School in East Moline, IL. After graduating, Tim embarked on a career as an electrician, working with Rock Island Lines and John Deere. His career path eventually led him and his family to Holland, Michigan, where he joined Haworth Corporation. Tim dedicated the rest of his professional life to Haworth, serving in various roles including master electrician, shift supervisor, and senior quality control manager. It was at Haworth where Tim met the love of his life, Beverly. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared 36 wonderful years of marriage.
Tim was an avid traveler, exploring the world and forging lasting friendships wherever he went. His passion for gardening brought joy to many, as he was always eager to share his bountiful harvest with visitors. Above all, Tim cherished the moments spent with his extended family and friends, whether at his home in Holland, his cabin in Baldwin, Michigan, or his winter residence at Sugar Creek Country Club in Bradenton, Florida. Tim found joy in helping others with their activities. His generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand left a lasting impact on those around him.
Tim is survived by his devoted wife, Beverly Murray, and his loving children and stepchildren: Chuck Murray, Scott Murray (Ulrike Murray), Amy Dealino (Rowel Dealino), Lori Kraai (Chuck Kraai), and Steve Everse (Susie Everse). He also leaves behind a brother, sisters, many cherished grandchildren Kelsey (Eric), Jon (Colleen), Ian (Alecz), Taylor (Nate), Carol (Scott), Emily (Nick), Adam, Erik, Kyle, and great-grandchildren. Tim was preceded in death by his son Kris and brother Ed.
A memorial service to celebrate Tim's life will be held on April 17, 2025 at 10 AM at Fellowship Reformed Church in Holland, Michigan. Family and friends are encouraged to join in honoring the memory of a man who touched so many lives with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
Tim will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
