Tracy suffered a very long battle with Crohn's Disease and related health issues. She died of a pulmonary embolism.
Tracy graduated from Southeast High School in Bradenton and continued her education at the State College of Florida, earning her bachelor's degree in nursing. She worked at Blake Hospital as a registered nurse until she could no longer work due to her illness. Tracy loved her work and was a very dedicated nurse.
She is survived by her loving parents; Albert and Barbara Stewart of Bradenton, two brothers; John (Trish) Stewart of Bradenton, Wayne (Kaitlyn) Stewart of Temple Terrace, a sister, Tammy Stewart Mercer of Naples, nephews; Benjamen and Riley Stewart; Jeffery and Christopher Mercer; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 25 at 11am at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 12713 Upper manatee River Road, Bradenton, 34212 with Dr. John W. Lewis and Tracy's cousin, Pastor Tim Kluver officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30am. Burial will follow at Manasota Memorial Park, 1221 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton, 34203.
