Bill retired and moved to Florida in 2015 from the beautiful home he built on Lake Shirley in Lunenburg MA. He spent his career as a self-employed carpenter. He loved his work and lived his life to the fullest.
Bill was his happiest when he was with his family, kids and grandkids. He loved boating, traveling and spending time with family and friends at the lake house. Bill proudly served in the US Army Medical Corp., and completed a tour of Vietnam from 1966-1968. Bill will be lovingly remembered by all as a devoted and loyal husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Donna, son, Paul Russo, daughter, Pam Russo Gould, and son-in-law, Bob Gould, grandchildren, Grace Russo, Brandon Gould, Benjamin Gould, Shaun Gould, brother, Michael Russo, sister, Linda Galassi, and brother-in-law, Ray LeBlanc.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Lilian Russo.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 15, 2019 from 10am to 12pm at The Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Ave East, Bradenton, Florida. Memorial Service to follow with inurnment at the Sarasota National Cemetery, State Road 72, Sarasota, Florida at 2pm. Robert Toale & Sons are entrusted with final care.
