Doris “Dori” Beatrice Sickles Mills, 90, of Wantage was called to the lord on Monday, March 8, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.
Doris was born in Dover, NJ to the late David Arthur and Louisa Emma (Truscott) Sickles. Doris lived in Branchville for over 20 years before moving to her beloved Florida sunshine in Cape Coral and returning to New Jersey in 2020. Prior to her retirement, she worked as a Budget Analyst for Picatinny Arsenal. Doris was a past member of the Dover Emblem Club, Branchville 4-H Club, Cape Coral Art League, Sparta Lanes Bowling Team and Picatinny Golf Club. Dori enjoyed golfing, painting with friends, displaying her artwork, traveling, hosting annual friend and family Branchville picnics. And finally coming back to New Jersey to live with family.
Doris is survived by her beloved daughters; Linda Smith and her husband Michael of Brielle, NJ,
Robbin Blessing and her husband Bill of Sparta, NJ and Katherine (Kit) Mills of Wantage, NJ, her grandchildren; Erin Perini and her husband David of Bucks County, PA, Michael Caldarella of Vernon, NJ, Catherine Smith of Walnut Creek, CA, Christopher Caldarella and his wife Colleen of Hampton, NJ and Andrea Pagliaro of Wantage, NJ and her great-grandchildren; Olivia and Violet Caldarella. Her beloved husband Henry (Hank) Mills in 1993 and her sister Betty Ridner predeceased Doris.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
