Edith M Sliker, age 85, of Branchville, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the Homestead Rehabilitation and Care Center. Born in Stillwater to the late Roy and Hazel (Martin) Hooey. Edith was a life long resident of Sussex County and was employed by the former Pines Retirement Home in Branchville for 30 years before retiring in 1993. In her spare time, Edith enjoyed a good game of Bingo along with crafts and gardening.
Edith was preceded in death by her husband Edward Sliker Sr. and her sister and brother in law Shirley and Albert Reper.
Edith is survived by her 2 children; Sandra Wyker (John); and her son Edward Sliker Jr; her 4 siblings; Barbara Johnson (Edward), Russell Hooey (Karen), Roy Hooey (Janet) and Betty Mann.

A visitation for Edith will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville, NJ 07826.
