Harold G. H. Finch Jr., “Howie”, age 58 of Montague, New Jersey passed away unexpectedly in his home on Monday November 7, 2022. Harold was born on February 1, 1964 to the late Harold G. H. Finch Sr., and Alice E. Finch (Robe) in Kearny, NJ.
Harold lived an exciting, active lifestyle and kept very busy running his business, dirt modified racing the number “25” Countryside Oil car, fishing, hunting, and enjoying all of life’s pleasures. Harold spent his most recent years more privately enjoying his time refurbishing model trains and reminiscing on his past escapades with whomever would listen!
A cherished father, grandfather, brother, son and friend, Harold is survived by his son Harold G. H. Finch III and his wife Christina, along with their two children Harold G. H. Finch IV and Sofia Finch; his Godfather Clarence Finch Jr.; his sister Deborah Wilson and her husband Edward; his nephews Brandon, Kyle, and Nathan Wilson; his lifelong friends Barbara Sandler Brooks, Jeri and Daniel Salvati, and Walt Bussiere, as well as many others whose lives he touched in his too short a time with us.
Services to celebrate the life of Harold will be held at a later date.
