Stefania was born in Bucharest, Romania, she was a longtime New Jersey and Florida resident before settling in Tennessee to reside with her son and daughter-in-law for the last year of her life. She worked for Exxon, Smith Industries and Suburban Propane for many years prior to retirement in 1999. Stefania was a World traveler who always relished in the beauty of the natural world. She especially enjoyed the time spent in Florida taking in the beautiful ocean views.
Stefania was predeceased by her first husband of 40 years, Romulus Voitcu; her second husband, Leopold Koenig; and her parents, Gheorghe and Catrina Petre; and her brother, Stefan Petre. She is survived by her son, Michael Voitcu and wife, Heather; her granddaughter, Dakota Voitcu; her grandson, Tristan Voitcu; her nephew, Alexandru Petre and wife, Iulia Martin; her great-niece, Antonia Petre; and her great-nephew, Andre Petre.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 11, 2025, and from 10:00 am to 10:30 am on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville, NJ 07826. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Branchville Cemetery, Pine St, Branchville, NJ 07826.
