

On October 5, 2010 the Good Lord took home HIS angel, Arthur Morris, my Dad. He was my HERO, my BEST FRIEND. He truly had a heart after CHRIST. He lived his faith every day. He touched many lives for Christ. Now he is HOME with my Mom, his Wife and God. Dad you will be missed every day by a lot of people. Austin and I LOVE YOU with ALL our hearts. You were the Best Father, Papa and man I have ever known. May you rest in peace, Daddy.
Art was born May 13, 1930. He is survived by his son Mark and wife Lisa living in Indiana. His grandsons, Austin Cisneros and Mason Grossman and their mother Laura Pereira living in California. Brothers, Howard Morris of Virginia and Ballard Morris of West Virginia. Sisters, Ruth Workman and Erma Severt of West Virginia.
He married his wife Isla Joan Blackledge Morris on April 2, 1965. She proceeded him in death. He was proceeded in death by his father Ballard Morris Sr. and mother Christina Mitchem Morris. Also, proceeding him was his brother Edgar Morris. Sisters, Ethel Grose, Thelma Grose and Margie Harsanyi. He is survived by many nieces and nephews who love him very much.
Art had a huge heart for Christ. During his lifetime he became a father figure, uncle , mentor or best friend. He touched so many lives by his willingness to always help in any way he could.
Art retired from Safeway . He was an active member of Golden Hills Community Church in Brentwood, CA. Art touched hundreds of lives during his lifetime. He and his late wife Isla were “adopted” parents to many people. Art loved spending time with his family and especially loved watching his grandsons Austin Cisneros play baseball and Mason Grossman do karate.
