I'm just now hearing of Ben's passing. Ben and I worked together when we were teenagers, at Liberty Pizza.  He was such a genuinely kind person. Even though he was two years older than me, he was nice enough to come to my Jr. Prom with me. Viewing the photos of your family on fb, it's evident Ben was a happy family man.  I hope that you find peace in the loving memories  you all share of him.

I still can't believe it....Ben was one of the nicest guys I knew in high school...always made you smile.  My condolences go out to Tish, Ella, Catherine and their family...may God keep watch over you and help heal your heart...he may be gone but he will NEVER be forgotten!!!!

We have known Ben since he was a student in our classes at Liberty and as a friend to our son Rob and daughter Betsy.  He grew to be an amazing man--a loving husband and father, a dedicated firefighter, and an inspiring teacher to his students.  He will be missed but never forgotten. Tish I have known Ben for about 12 yrs now I worked at Sutter Delta in the ER. Ben was always so nice and he always had that great big smile to great you.  He will be missed but he wont be far from you and the girls. god bless.

I am so sorry for your loss. I was able to meet Ben when he became a Mason at Antioch Brentwood Masonic Lodge. It was honor to be Master of the lodge at that time & meet a man like Ben & his family.

Ben was one of my first friends. And he has stayed a true friend for the 30 or so years I've know him. I'm so sorry for Tish, the girls, and the rest of the family for the loss of such an amazing person. The only thing I can think of is that God needed him more there than he did here, and Tish, Ella and Catherine have a guardian angel looking out for them always.
